Computer Sculpture by Andrew Werby, as the principal, sells tools necessary to create physical objects through the use of computers. As a well known artist and sculptor, he introduces the technical aspects of casting, and mold-making to other artists by the struggles he’d been through with CNC technology and its application to his work that ComputerSculpture.com began.
Tools and Process
- Scanning – 3D scanning for 3D CAD models
- Modeling – 3D model (MoI 3D)
- Toot Paths – using Computer-aided Manufacturing (CAM) programs to analyze models and drawings to create toolpaths from them that represent the motion of a cutting tool as it cuts the part.
- Production – scanned or modeled 3D forms are transformed into real physical models with the use of milling machines.
Tools and equipment used during the process were stated on the website. If you want to know more about Computer Sculpture, please visit https://computersculpture.com/.
