FEANI is a federation of professional engineers of 32 European Higher Education Area (EHEA) countries from National Engineering Associations. It represents over 6 million professional engineers in Europe and aims to facilitate mutual recognition of engineers, developing their professional identity not only in Europe but around the world.
History
Founded in 1951 by a group of French and German engineers who thought that through technology, creating links between former adversaries is possible and facilitating the prosperity and development of European society.
Today, 32 European countries are represented in FEANI that brings more than 350 national engineering associations, recognized as representatives of their countries in the engineering profession.
FEANI serves as a single voice for the engineering profession in Europe and wants to affirm and develop the professional identity of engineers through its activities and services, especially with the attribution of EUR ING professional title.
