Established in 2009, Newton Robotics Aperture Team is an award-winning organization in robotics that proudly served and contributed to the expanding STEM Education not only to the students but also to the community in Newton, NJ.
They have participated in different competitions on robotics that help students have an opportunity to present their skills and to explore more which they can use in the real world working fields in Engineering, Science, Business, Industrial, Information Technology, and many more.
The team coached by James Hofmann with the assistance of Darleen Nelson ensures that the program will help its members to become leaders in Science and Technology, and continue providing education and opportunities to the community’s youth.
The Newton Robotics team’s FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics which is an organization that inspires children and teens to become involved in science and technology, provides opportunities to students from kindergarten through twelfth grade who wish to succeed in pursuing a career in science and technology field.
The team has participated in the FIRST LegoLeague Competition and FIRST Robotics Competition.
